Yvonne Pauline (Holland) Moore – Lockamy, 88 years old, born in Onslow County, North Carolina on July 5, 1938, and departed this world on September 21, 2026, to be with her Lord and Savior.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eloise Holland; her husband, Gene Moore, and sister, Mycleta Holland. She was the 2nd child of eleven born to Rob and Eloise.

Born and raised in Onslow County, Yvonne worked on the farm and graduated with Richlands High School, class of 1956. She married and eventually moved with her family to settle in Oklahoma where she worked several years before retiring from Weyerhaeuser. In her later years, she moved back to the old homestead area, living in Deppe, North Carolina, near her family and was a member of Grants Creek Baptist Church of which she dearly loved singing in the choir.

In her later years, she returned to Oklahoma to be with her children.

Yvonne enjoyed spending time with family, growing plants, gardening, singing, going to church and her farm animals.

Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory, 3 sons, Donnie Moore of Challis, ID, Michael Moore and Diana of Garland, TX, Mark Moore and Sheila of Valliant, OK; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sisters, Julia Smith and Bob of Morehead City, NC, Lois Simpson and Gregory of Maysville, NC, Martha Jenkins of Mocksville, NC, Mary Horne of Swansboro, NC, Wanda Castillo and Willy of Jacksonville, NC; brothers, Robert Holland of Kinston, NC, Benjamin Holland, Jack Holland and David Holland of Maysville, NC; along with several nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
