Yvonna June (Greer) Dawes, 61, of Powderly, TX, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2024, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX. She was proceeded in death by her parents and husband, Stanley Joe Dawes.

Yvonna was born on July 14, 1962, to her loving parents, Harold Lee Greer and Violet Jenett (Adcock) Greer. She grew up in the small town of Sawyer, OK, and was a graduate of Fort Towson High School, class of 1980. Yvonna went on to marry the love of her life, Stanley, on December 31, 1991, in Arthur City, TX. They built their life together in Paris, TX where she resided for the past 33 years of her life.

Yvonna was a woman who knew how to work hard and had a very fiery spirit no matter the situation. She was well known for her ability to be ornery at times, and this made her all the more loveable. Yvonna serviced the community in the customer service industry for most of her life and enjoyed the opportunity to help and aid others. For the past nine years, Yvonna has been an associate at Wal-Mart where she made lasting impacts on her local community with her humor and attitude.

In her spare time, Yvonna was an avid lover of the art of crochet. She enjoyed making new things and presenting them to the ones she loved as keepsakes. Yvonna had a very creative spirit and a passion for giving to others. She was a loving mother to her children, an overjoyed Nanny to her grandchildren, a fantastic sister to her siblings, and a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Yvonna was known to always make time for the people she loved in her life and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Yvonna is survived by her loving family; daughters, Kelley Rae Rasberry and husband, Clayton of Robert Lee, TX and Tiffany Spangler and husband, Seth of Paris, TX; son, Chance Rudd of Deport, TX; grandchildren, Chase Rudd, Cade Rasberry, Keeley Rasberry, Landon Rasberry, Corey Rasberry, Rylee Jo Spangler, and Bryan Young; 7 brothers and 6 sisters, along with a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
