Wyatt Mignon Williams, 61, was born on December 12, 1961 in Durant, OK, the son of Lonnie Mignon Williams and Linda (Buck) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, J.L. Williams.

Wyatt married the love of his life, Susan Sorrels, on December 29, 1984, in Mill Creek, OK and they have lived in this area for the last 20 years. Wyatt was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hugo, OK. He worked over 20 years as a police officer and security guard for many different cities, counties and companies. Early in his life, Wyatt enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding horses. Wyatt and his father loved to work and train horses together. Wyatt was a true family man; his children and his grand children were his pride and joy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Wyatt survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Susan Williams, son, Josh Williams and wife, Amanda of Fort Towson, OK; sister, Joni Phelps and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Macy, Connor, and Capp; nephew, Parker Phelps; niece, Emma Jo Phelps; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
