William "Willie" Clifton Brainerd, 65, was born in Castro Valley, California on July 28, 1959. He was raised by his beloved mother, Mary Roselle Alexander and "Pappy" Jerry Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jason Marsh; grandson, Jeffrey Lou Watts; in laws, Lester and Deanie Watts; sister in laws, Laverne Watts and Sheila Watts and nephew Blake Watts.

Willie married the love of his life on May 8, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada, they made their home in Sawyer, Oklahoma where they owned and operated K & W Wrecker.

Willie was successful in life and had a list of accomplishments but his greatest joy and biggest accomplishments in life were his wife and grandchildren. These are the memories that he has left for them to cherish.

JayLee loved her nickname, "Mator", that Papa gave her. He would often tell her to watch this and then spank Granny with the fly swatter, blaming it on her. JayLee is also glad Papa showed her how to drift in the golfcart.

Brannan and Papa had a side business trading toy cars. There were times when Brannan needed to go shopping for a cool-looking car just so he could trade it with Papa. Brannon also enjoyed going on tows and working in the shop. He loved sharing videos of big trucks with Granny so Papa could see them too. He also loved drawing their K & W tow truck and sending it to Papa.

Papa would call and say I have a box up here and I would get up there and ask where the box was and he would say "I don't have one"  but he did have a YouTube video to show me and we would sit there and watch YouTube videos….Herminie

While living with Papa and Kaky my "job" as Papa would say was to pick up horse apples out of the front yard the whole month of August. After I moved out, Papa would call or text the beginning of every August, saying the horse apples were ready to be picked up and it was time for me to come work….Shelby

Papa loved his tacos, while working in Paris he would call almost everyday for 5 hard tacos and some taco sauce from Taco Casa, and if he didn't call, he for sure said "where's my tacos" when I walked through the door….Megan

Papa always pestered me by throwing pillows at me or splashing water on me when he was making his coffee but through all the pestering we still had tons of fun and shared many laughs together….Laynie

Every time I would come over and see my Popa he would give me a big smile and the biggest hug, I remember every time Popa would get some water in his coffee cup and throw it on whoever he felt like that day, let's be honest if Popa didn't pester you and get on your nerves he didn't love you. My Popa was such a good man to my Kaky, and he will always make me look for the love they had and I'll never foret the memories we had….Addie Mae

Aceyn loved working with his Papa in the shop, going on big truck tows and winch outs. He enjoyed doing anything his Papa told him to do even if it was going to get him in trouble and might be slightly dangerous, like how to do donuts and drift on the golfcart or throwing firecrackers at his dad and Kat! Papa Willie taught Aceyn  lots of things like how to dunk Oreos in milk or Pepsi and how to be ornery! They were always pestering each other. Papa could talk Ace into anything. Aceyn loved his Papa very much and he always made sure to bring Papa Oreos. "I'm goin to eat all your Oreos Papa….Love Aceyn Lester.

Willie is survived by his beloved wife Kat of the home; sons, Kevin Marsh and wife Angel of Hugo, OK and  J. B. Watts and wife Julie of Hugo, OK; daughter, Jessica "The Favorite" Reece and husband Caleb of Chandler, OK and Wendy Harding of Mena, AR; grandchildren, Trayson, Shelby, Megan, Emmy-Addy, Addie Mae, Herminie, Laynie, JayLee, Alisa, Brannan, Caden and Aceyn; brother, Dennis Brainerd and wife Connie of Tulsa along with a host of friends, family and loved ones.
