William Trex Alvarez, 36, was born on April 16, 1988, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, the son of Scott and Toni Alvarez. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Betty Crowe,  Billy and Anna Jean Alvarez; and niece, Berkeley Maize Best.

Trex was known for his free spirit who embraced every opportunity to explore the world around him and traveling was one of his most cherished hobbies. He had the opportunity to visit all but 3 states in the US and had many friends across the country. Trex was an animal lover and held a special place in his heart for dogs. He enjoyed playing golf, eating any of the spiciest foods you could think of, and was an avid Seattle Seahawks and Mariners fan. He quite literally wore his heart on his sleeve through his many tattoos that told his story in the exact way that he wanted them too. He also had a profound love of music, which contributed to some of his many adventures and most fond memories. Above all else, Trex was fiercely devoted to the things he loved and the people he shared his life with. He loved being a father and took every chance he was given to tell you how much he adored his daughter, Paityn. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family and all those fortunate enough to call him a friend. To know him was to love him.

Trex is survived by his daughter, Paityn Haize Alvarez;  mother, Toni Pierce and stepfather, Donnie of Hugo, OK; father, Scott Alvarez of Starke, FL; sister, Krissy Best and husband, Tyler of Cartersville, GA and their children, Kelsey, Kylie, Jersi and Beckett; brother, Brett Alvarez and wife, Marissa of Kissimmee, FL and their children, Makenzie, Kendall and Brayden; stepbrother, Lane Pierce and wife, Jessie of Boswell, OK and their children, Kenly, Peyton, Karter and Rylee; uncles, Terry Crowe and Randy Crowe and aunt, Anna Herndon and husband, Doug along with many other family members, friends and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to support his daughter, Paityn.
