Wendell Lynn Mock, 49, was born on February 18, 1974, in McKinney, Texas, the son of Jack Wayland Mock and Betty Sue Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jackie Ray Mock; uncles, Dennis Houston, Ricky Houston, Escar Mock, Foss Mock; and aunt, Lois Black.

Wendell was a lifelong resident of the Fort Towson area. He worked in various refineries all over the south as a Boiler Maker. However, Wendell's true passion was farming and ranching. He loved to work with his hands and being outdoors. In Wendell's spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his right-hand men, Bulldog and Shorty, his two dogs. Wendell also loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them every chance he could. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Wendell is survived by his brothers, Will Hall of Fort Towson, OK, and Wayland Mock of Fort Towson, OK; sister, Becky Epperson of Quinlan, TX; uncle, Mark Houston of Frogville, OK; aunts, Shelah Niblett of Powderly, TX, Holly Houston of Frogville, OK and Mary Barnes of Fort Towson, OK; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
