Wanda Lou (Goforth) Cain, 84, went to her heavenly home on June 10, 2025. She passed away peacefully in Paris, Texas.

Wanda was born on October 13, 1940, in Caviness, Texas, the daughter of Eddie Lee Goforth and Mavis Marie (Mantooth) Goforth. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Raymond Cain; daughter, Kim Stribling - Hunter; granddaughter, Misty Taylor; brothers, William Goforth and Jerry Ashford and sister, Billie Ashford White.

Wanda grew up in the Paris, Texas area and she married her beloved husband, Raymond Cain, in Mount Pleasant, TX. Wanda worked several jobs throughout her life, first as a car hop in her younger years, as well as at Campbell Soup and later having her own beauty shop. Lastly, she pursued a career in the health field, becoming a registered nurse until retirement.

Wanda loved being outdoors; working in her flower garden, swimming and she was an avid bird watcher. She also enjoyed going shopping with her friends and family.  Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and getting everyone together. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Wanda is survived by her children; Mark Stribling and wife, Kim of Paris, Texas; Rama Cain of Hugo, OK; Gwenda Barath and husband, Charlie of Hugo, OK; grandchildren, Raymond Taylor and wife, Kendra of Hugo, OK, Richelle Rosenbaum and husband, Carlos Gonzalez of Roselle Park, New Jersey, Kristen Stribling of Greenville, TX, Coty Barath Colaluca and husband, Matt of Columbus, OH, Ryan Stribling and wife, Morgan of Hammond, LA and Ben Rosenbaum of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Anthony Chandler, Trevor Malakowsky, Trace Malakowsky, Ezekiel Gonzalex, Tessa Tucker, Landon Stribling and Ethan Taylor; great-great grandson, Samuel Chandler; sister in laws, Marci Goforth and Margaret Ashford; brother in law, Bobby Cain and wife, Cathy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
