Walter Lee Higgins, 56, was born on January 23, 1970 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Chester Lee Higgins and Joyce (Logan) Higgins.  He was preceded in death by his father;  sister, Jennifer Higgins and granddaughter, Willow Grace Turner.

Walter was a lifelong resident of Messer, Oklahoma, and a 1988 graduate of Hugo High School. He married his beloved wife, Donna Taylor, on January 22, 1993, in Messer, OK. A journeyman electrician, Walter took pride in his work. He enjoyed hunting arrowheads, riding his motorcycle, spending time on Hugo Lake, and working on his place. Above all, his greatest joy was being with his family. His passing leaves a deep void in their lives, but they will carry his memory in their hearts for years to come.

Walter is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna Higgins of the home; mother, Joyce Higgins of Hugo, OK; son, Geoffery James of Hugo, OK; daughters, Brandi Childers of Benton, AR, Amber Carnley of Bokchito, OK, Stormie Childers, of Hot Springs, AR and Ashlee Higgins and husband, Philip Richie of Durant, OK; grandchildren, Aleea, River, MarShon, Adrian, Grayson, Tallan, K.J., Kyah, Finn, Kai, Serenity and Kamryn; brother, Brian Higgins of Messer, OK; sister, Misty Higgins of Messer, OK; numerous nieces, nephews cousins, aunts and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
