Vonda Dell Schutts, 70, was born on April 21, 1954, in Unger, OK, the daughter of Lloyd Goodwin and Marie (Moore) Wiggins. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Dennis Wiggins; niece, Keely Wheeler; sister, LaRetha Lester and brother-in-law, Mickey Lester.

Vonda lived in Choctaw County most of her life. She married the love of her life, Jim Schutts, on August 2, 2002, at Texoma Lodge. Vonda was a strong, vibrant and determined woman. She lived a life full of experiences and adventure and she lived it on her own terms. Vonda loved to travel, seeing and experiencing new places, and her love of travel inspired her to lead an extraordinary life. She wasn't afraid of new adventures, trying new things or of following her convictions and she was compassionate about what she believed. Vonda was a fierce advocate for the people she loved. She loved spending time with her loved ones and that time was filled with laughter and fun. Vonda's beautiful smile was contagious, and she made sure that the people she surrounded herself with knew how much she loved them, especially Jim, who was her anchor and her strength. Jim loved her the way she had always dreamed of being loved, unconditionally, and she loved him the same. She was so proud to be his wife. Those who loved Vonda will carry her memory with them, and she will live on through the stories of her life and the laughter and wonderful memories that she leaves behind. Vonda's spirit will never be forgotten.

Vonda is survived by her loving husband, Jim Schutts of the home; sons, James Weston and wife, Alicia of Stephenville, TX, Steve Schutts and wife, Shannon of Durant, OK and Charles Schutts of Soper, OK; grandchildren, Randi Ragle, Preston Schutts, Madeline Schutts, Zach Schutts, Eric Schutts and Jamie Schutts; great grandchildren, Liam Ragle, Levi Ragle and Lila Ragle; brother, Harold Goodwin, sisters, Elaine Winslett and husband, Tony and Donna Robinson and husband, Jim; nieces, Michelle Carney, Tori Coln, Amy Pittman, Lora Yoder and Emily Robinson and nephews, Mickie Lester, Dax Winslett, Aaron Robinson and Josh Goodwin along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
