Oran Virginia (Cantrell) Cunningham, 89, was born on October 14, 1935, in Valliant, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Clint Cantrell and Jewel Jenette (McBride) Cantrell. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis Joe Cunningham; daughter and son-in-law, Delene and Harold Adney; son-in-law, David Nelson; grandson, Cameron Bilby; brothers, Carthell Cantrell, Elvis Cantrell, Calvin Cantrell, Dale Gene Cantrell and Larry Cantrell; sisters, Berthie Hughes, Dorothy Cantrell, Helen Moore, Ellen Gantt, Glenda Peters, and Darlene Allensworth.

Virginia married her beloved husband, Francis Joe Cunningham, on October 2, 1953, in Hugo, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and lived there for 54 years. They moved back to the Rufe area in 2002.

Virgina dedicated her life to the role of a homemaker and her family was the cornerstone of her life. She proudly raised her own children but also many others, showing them all unconditional love. Family gatherings was one of the highlights of Virgina's life. She loved getting the family together for holidays, where stories were shared, and memories were made. Virgina also enjoyed being outdoors, watching the birds and riding four-wheelers with her family.

Virgina's dedication to her family was unwavering, and even though her passing has left a void in their lives her memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Virgina is survived by her family; daughter, Connie Rock-Nelson of Rufe, OK; son, Michael Cunningham and wife, Debbie of Rufe, OK; grandchildren, Dwayne Bilby, Karon New, Misty Saldivar, Jeremie Cunningham, Joseph Rock and Stephen Rock; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and loved ones.
