Ulysses J. Adamson "Bubba" was born on October 22, 1946, to U.V. and Allie Adamson. He was preceded in death by his parents U.V. and Allie Adamson, his sister Queen McFrazier and two brothers Hershel and Darnell Adamson. Ulysses grew up in Bluff, Oklahoma and was in church at an early age. He moved from Bluff to California where he was in Job Corp from 1960-1962 and later moved to Oklahoma City in 1964 where he married the love of his life Cleo "Cliff" Jeffries, and to this union 4 children were reared. Tony, Kyndrea, Ulionel "Totsy," and Kisha.

Ulysses worked for the City of Oklahoma City for 43 years and retired in 2011. He also worked part-time for Standard Building Maintenance for 30 years. He believed in working hard and instilled this in his children. He enjoyed watching old westerns and football and you could find him on Saturdays cleaning his beloved truck and listening to his soulful music. Above all else he loved his family, and his presence will truly be missed by his family.

Ulysses is survived by his wife Cleo "Cliff" Adamson and their children Kyndrea of Atlanta, Kisha of OKC, Ulionel (Bre) of OKC, and Tony (Olympia) of OKC. 1 sister, Versie (Phillip) Parrish of Hugo, OK, 5 brothers, Willie V (Rita) Adamson of Willis TX, Joe Wayne (Carolyn) Adamson of Cedar Hill, TX, Cecil Adamson of OKC, Arnell (Nita) Adamson of Hugo, OK and Larry (Lana) Adamson of Huntsville, TX. 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
