Anthony Dewayne Gallant, 41, was born on November 25, 1981, in Nuremberg, Germany, the son of Gary Gallant and Crystal Bowden. He was preceded in death by his mother, Crystal; grandparents, Jerry Wilson and Edna Gallant; uncle, Mark Bowden and aunt, Kelly Tharp.

Tony grew up in the Soper area and lived there most of his life. He worked as a carpenter for many years and enjoyed making things with his hands. Tony was a true outdoorsman; he loved to hunt and fish any chance he could. He was known for his love of having a good time, making those around him laugh and his willingness to give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. His passing has left a void in his family's life, but his memory will live on in those who loved him.

Tony is survived by his loving family, father and stepmother, Gary and Frances Gallant; children, Caine Gallant and Jaden Gallant; sisters, Teresa Lynn Holley, Brittany Nicole Karr and Tisha Nealy; brothers, Jerry Don Gallant, Robert Cole, Jamie Gallant, and Russell Bartlett; grandparents, Homer Gallant and Joqueta Wilson; and aunt, Robin Secousten; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, family and loved ones.
