Thomas Ballard "Tommy" Tyler, 74, son of Jim and Edith (Ballard) Tyler, was born on October 19, 1950, in Millerton, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Tyler, father, Jim Tyler and stepmother, Linda Tyler; brothers, Ben Tyler and Ronnie Tyler.

Tommy was born and raised in Millerton, Oklahoma. He traveled all over the United States, working as a boiler maker for the Boiler Maker's Union, moving back to Millerton permanently in 2008. Tommy had many hobbies, including hunting, fishing and playing golf. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tommy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tommy is survived by his sons, Beau Tyler, Kevin Tyler and Ashton Tyler; grandchildren, Heather Tyler and Amora Tyler; brothers, L.B. Tyler, Jimmie Tyler and sisters, Peggy Tyler and Lee Jay Tyler, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
