Theresa Ann (Smith) Fegett, 65, gained her heavenly wings on September 13, 2023, in Paris, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

Theresa was born on December 28, 1957, in Idabel, OK, the daughter of Billy "Pete" Smith and Shirley Ann (Mooney) Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Pete Smith and husband, of 30 years, Charlie Fegett.

Theresa was a lifelong resident of the Valliant community and worked as the deputy treasurer at the McCurtain County Treasurers office for 40 years. She married Charlie "Lucky" Fegett on February 10, 1978, in Clarksville, Texas. They spent the next 30 years together and raised their family in Valliant, with Lucky passing in 2008. Later, Theresa retired and had the opportunity to spend more time on another passion of hers, which was helping others. She truly had a servant's heart and loved to help anyone she could. Whether that was picking up others medicine from the pharmacy or baking one of her famous buttermilk pies which she would donate to different fundraisers around the community. Theresa was also a member of The Meeting Place church of Millerton, OK and is where she married her husband, Gregory Lippincott on October 2, 2018. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Her passing has left a void in her family's life, but her memory and kindness will live on through them.

Theresa is survived by her mother, Shirley Ann Smith; husband, Greg Lippincott; sons, Charlie "Chuck" Fegett and wife, Stephanie and Chance Fegett and wife, Brittany; grandchildren, Whitlee Fegett, Kaylee Fegett, KaceLynn Fegett and Jaxon Fegett; sister, Tracy Roberts and husband, James; a special sister, Diana Haynie; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been set up at First State Bank in Valliant, OK.
