In Loving Memory of Sheri Stanford LaRue

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sheri Stanford LaRue, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Sheri passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion,and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Sheri was born in Hugo, Oklahoma on September 28th, 1968. She was known for her generous heart, warm smile, toughness and ability to make everyone feel welcome. She cherished time spent with family and friends and found joy in life's simple moments, especially time spent with horses.  Whether offering a listening ear, sharing words of encouragement, or creating lasting memories with those she loved, Sheri's presence brought comfort and happiness to many.

Above all else, Sheri's greatest pride was her son, Tyler.  She will be remembered for her strength and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her influence will continue to be felt through the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Sheri is survived by her loving family, including son Tyler Champange of Bedford, Texas, her brother Chad Stanford of Holdenville, Oklahoma, sister Debbie Stanford of Hugo, Oklahoma, sister Judy Lentz of Branson, Missouri, nephews Joeseph and Cannan Stanford of Holdenville, Oklahoma, and nieces Jennifer Broades of Idabel, Oklahoma and Hannah Stanford of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Jean Stanford of Valliant, Oklahoma, her father Fred Stanford of Fairbanks, Alaska, sister Francis Johnson of Idabel, Oklahoma, brother Joe Stanford of Kenai, Alaska, uncle George Kent and aunt Dorothy Kent of Lancaster, Texas who welcomed her into eternal rest.

A memorial service for Sheri will be at Miller and Miller Funeral Home, 201 Wilson St, Valliant, Ok on Tuesday, July 7th. Viewing will be from 9am to 10am and services will begin at 10 am.

Though Sheri is no longer with us in person, her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
