Sean "Booger" Loyd Hughes, 54, was born on April 12, 1971, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Harold Loyd Hughes and Bertha Marie (Cantrell) Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, James Kenny Morris; stepson, Brice Hobbs; and niece, Debby Mann.

Sean was a lifelong resident of McCurtain County and was a graduate of Valliant High School, Class of 1989. Born into a family that valued hard work, Sean quickly became known as a Jack of All Trades. Whether it was plumbing, painting, carpentry or even mechanic work, Sean could do a little of it all. Outside of his professional career, he still enjoyed working with his hands and being outdoors. Hunting and fishing were some of the few things that he truly enjoyed.

Sean loved to make people laugh and had a skill for playfully aggravating his family and friends. Yet, behind every joke and prank was a man with a heart of gold, who would go to great lengths to ensure that those he loved were happy and always laughing. Sean was a man who lived fully, laughed loudly, and loved unconditionally. He will be profoundly missed but, his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

Sean is survived by his family; wife, Terri Hughes; stepsons, Kynan Hobbs and wife, Tiffany and Krispin Hobbs; sisters, Gwen Morris, Colleen Morris and husband, Delmas, Venessa Moyer and husband, Eddie; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other family and friends.
