Ruth Helen (Hanes) Glenn, 86, was born on February 2, 1936, in Grant, Oklahoma the daughter of Jessie Hanes and Grace Faye (Davis) Hanes. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband and the father of her children, David Glenn; brother, James Hanes and sister, Retha Faye Hyatt.

Ruthie grew up and lived in the Grant area most of her life. She had been a resident of the Baptist Village in Hugo for the last 7 years. Ruthie enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing and dancing. She was known for being a "spit fire" and would always stand up for her family. Ruthie loved to spoil her children and all of her grand and great grand babies. She loved her family fiercely and they always came first. Ruthie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ruthie is survived by sons, David Glenn, Jr. of Grant, OK and James Glenn and wife, Linda of Hugo, OK; her daughter, Judy Cochnauer and husband, Dennis, whom Ruthie loved as a son, of Sawyer, OK; grandchildren, David Glenn III and wife, Jenna, Jeremy Glenn, Brandon Glenn, Jason Glenn and wife, Mikayla, Chelsi Glenn, Jessica Zachry and husband, Casey, Lacey Carpino and husband, Thomas, and Kayla Roark and husband, Daniel; great grandchildren, Colton, Weston, Brayden, Peyton, Emma, Tripp, Maddox, Jaxton, Hadyn, Logan, Brody, Brenden, Jae-lynn and Bowen; sister, Jessie Hawthorne of Burleson, TX, along with host of other friends, family and loved ones.
