Rodrigo Vertiz, 35, was called home on September 23, 2024. He was born on March 6, 1989 in San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Maria Olga Cruz and Jose Remedios Vertiz.

Rodrigo known as Rigo was the oldest of six children and moved to the United States to work and help support his family back home. Family meant everything to him. He married Claudia Rubio on September 1, 2007 in Hugo, Oklahoma and they started a family of their own. Rigo was known as a hard worker and he loved soccer, he enjoyed playing soccer with his four kids who shared his love of the sport. In the short time that he had with his sons, he taught them how to be hard workers just like their dad. Rigo was also known for his sense of humor and quick comeback for anybody's jokes. He was a great father to his kids, loved to spoil them and he was the fun parent, making forts for them in the living room. Rigo also enjoyed playing cards and dominos with his brothers and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rodrigo is survived by his wife Claudia "Gabby" Vertiz of the home; sons, Ivan Rodrigo and Juan Antonio; daughters, Liliana and Natalia; his parents, Jose and Olga; sisters Maria Teresa Vertiz and Maria Carmen Vertiz; grandmother, Basilia;  brothers, Carlos Vertiz, Juan Vertiz and Fernando Vertiz; uncle, Fulgencio Gallando; aunts, Juana Leon and Angelica Vertiz; cousins, Luis Gallardo, Jose Luis Gallardo, Santiago Vertiz, Miguel Cruz, Leticia Gonzalez and Lupe Gallando along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.

Rodrigo mejor conosido como Rigo, fue El mayor de 6. Se vino alos Estados Unidos a trabajar alos 15 para ayudar a su familia. En Septembre del 2007 se caso con su esposa Claudia Rubio conosida como Gabby. Tubieron su propria familia de 4. Ivan, Liliana, Natalia y Juan. Rigo fue conosido por ser trabajador y por su sentido de humor. Siempre de travieso, riendose. Le encantava El futbol. Amava El deported, y aun mas juegar con su hijos. El era feliz juegando en familia. En su Poco tiempo con su hijos les enseño a trabajar y desfrutar de la vida. Los llevava al Lago, a los juegos, a trabajar. Le encanatava ser El papa divertido hacendo casitas en la Sala de su casa. Le gustava juegar dominos, cartas, canicas, de los que fuera. De le va extrañar su risa sus traviesuras y sobre Todo su presencia. DEP dios los Tenga en su presencia 🙏
