Robin Roberson, lovingly known as “Sissy” by her family, passed away peacefully at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 44.

Robin was born on September 15, 1982, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Robert and Linda Moore. She was a proud graduate of Boswell High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Art degree in English and Bilingual Education, followed by a Master’s degree in Counseling.

On December 14, 2002, Robin married the love of her life, Steve Roberson. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared a life filled with love, laughter, faith, and countless memories.

Robin was a devoted and faithful member of Boswell First Baptist Church, where she served as a music leader and youth leader. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she had a special gift for making others feel loved, welcomed, and valued.

Robin dedicated her professional life to helping others as a school counselor and bilingual teacher at Rock Creek Schools, where she loved and touched the lives of so many students, families, and coworkers. Her compassion, encouragement, and genuine love for others made a lasting difference in the lives of those she encountered.

Sissy truly lived life to the fullest through the simple pleasures—being with friends and family, enjoying her favorite snacks, laughing, making memories, and spending time with her beloved nieces and nephews. Robin had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. If you knew her, you loved her.

Robin is survived by her loving husband, Steve Roberson; her children, Kendall and Kya; her mother, Linda Moore; mom, Gina “G” Roberson; her sisters, Sandy Wilkerson; Sharla and Kenny Malone; Stephanie and Paul Phillips; her brother, Brett and Susan Roberts; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, students, and church family.

Robin was preceded in death by her father, Robert Moore; her brother, Mark Moore; and brother in law, Jim Wilkerson.

Robin leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, kindness, and service. She gave so much of herself to the people she loved and to the communities she served. Her laughter, generous heart, love for her family, and the countless lives she touched will never be forgotten.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that Robin is now resting peacefully with her Savior. Her earthly life may have ended, but the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever.

Until we meet again, Sissy. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be setting up a memorial scholarship fund at First Texoma National Bank in Boswell, Oklahoma, in memory of Robin.
