Robert Wayne Tidmore, 76, was born on April 6, 1949, in Lakeview, Oregon, the son of Athon Stanley Tidmore and Juanita (Curtis) Tidmore. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jimmy Tidmore, Kenneth Tidmore, and Stanley Tidmore; and sister, Edna White.

Robert spent most of his life in McCurtain County and the 14 years in Garvin, OK. He worked as a truck driver and spent countless hours behind the wheel traveling across the county. His CB radio was always crackling with jokes, and he earned the handle  "Papa Top" among his fellow truckers.

Off the road, Robert was a high-roller in his own right, with a love for the casino that was only matched by his love for his family. To say that Robert lived his life to the fullest is an understatement. He was a man who lived life in the fast lane but always took the time to savor the moments with his family, friends and loved ones. Robert will be missed by many but he's memory will live on in the hearts of his family forever.

Robert is survived by his family; sons, Athon "Aj" Tidmore of Odessa, TX, Curtis Tidmore and Jamie of Odessa, TX, and Chad Tidmore of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Caitlin Tidmore Starr, Myla Tidmore, Stephanie Tidmore, Kaydn Tidmore, Brynlee Tidmore, Tyler Tidmore, Haley Tidmore, Colton Tidmore, Devon Tidmore, Cassandra Tidmore, and Sarah Tidmore; great grandchildren, Cooper, Wrynlee and Kingston; sister, Pam Heflin of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
