Robert Murl Gaddy was born on May 24, 1930 in Broken Bow, OK to Murl Gaddy and Agnel (Blissard) Gaddy. He departed this life on November 9, 2022 in Paris, TX.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Malacha (Austin) Gaddy and his sister, Dorothy Stuart.

Robert was a resident of the Valliant community for most of his life. He married the love of his life, Malacha Austin on June 6, 1959 in Valliant, OK. Robert proudly served his country and was a US Army Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Valliant United Methodist Church. He loved studying the Bible and debating scripture with people. Robert also served on the Valliant City Council with a stint as mayor of the city. He loved animals of all kinds, particularly puppies.  He hated animal cruelty and worried very much about people who didn't have enough to eat. Robert had a great love for his family and enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Baldwin and son-in-law Michael Baldwin of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Steven Baldwin of Appleton, WI and Matthew Baldwin of Adams, MA; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
