Robbie McDaniel, 50, of Sawyer, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025 at his residence. He was born on June 22, 1975, in Hugo, Oklahoma to Pat and Sheila (McDaniel) Strayhorn. He was preceded in death by his father, Pat; two sisters, Stacy and Megan Strayhorn; his Mamaw and PaPaw, Bert and Billie (Charlton) McDaniel; special nephew, Marcus Miller and special cousin who was more like a brother, Rocky Dunithan.

Robbie was raised in McCurtain County for most of his life, living in the Hugo area for the past 12 years.  He married the love of his life, Tiffaney Toney on December 10, 2010, in Valliant, OK and they shared nearly 15 loving years together. A proud 1995 graduate of Valliant High School, his career was deeply rooted in the timber industry, where he not only contributed his skills but also formed lasting friendships. Robbie was truly a jack of all trades. Robbie had a huge passion for fishing and hunting as well as the outdoors. He was known for his tender care of the animals that were lucky enough to be part of his life. Robbie will be remembered as a great cousin, and uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Robbie's memory will be cherished and celebrated by those who survive, his wife, Tiffaney McDaniel of the home; mother, Sheila Strayhorn of Wright City, OK; one brother, Steve Strayhorn of Wright City, OK; two sisters, Natalie Strayhorn of Wright City, OK and Kim Kennedy of Idabel, OK and mother-in-law, Jeanette Armstrong, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.
