Richard Kabat, 82, was born on March 27, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Ladd and Lottie (Leshiak) Kabat. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Kabat.

Richard married Ruthann Myers on May 16th, 1985, in San Francisco, California. He began working as a computer programmer and was very good at his trade. Richard loved running and participated in the yearly Bay To Breakers Marathon for many years. He and Ruthann enjoyed traveling and went all over the world. He was an artist, had a great sense of humor and was a gentleman at all times. Richard loved his family above all else and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Richard is survived by his wife, Ruthann Kabat of the home; stepson, Todd Fowler of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Caitlyn Fowler and Cody Fowler; great grandchildren, Laikyn Fowler and Cohen Fowler; brother, John Kabat and sister, Gail Kabat; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
