Richard Eugene Clark, 83, was born on August 10, 1940, in Independence, MO, the son of Walter Clark and Ruth (Horned) Clark and stepfather, Harvey Merritt . He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronnie Clark and Monte Merritt.

Richard lived in the Fort Towson community since 2014. He married the love of his life, Mary Jo, on February 21, 2008, in Hot Springs, AR. Richard was police officer for almost 50 years in Euless, TX and Hot Springs, AR. After he retired, he and Mary Jo moved to Fort Towson to be closer to their daughters and thought very highly of his sons-in-law. Richard enjoyed sitting on the porch and visiting with his friend, Earl, and loved to hear his donkey's bray. He also loved animals and holding his cats and dogs. Most of all, Richard loved his family and spending time with them. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Clark; daughters, Shelly Hall and husband, Ronnie of Fort Towson and Rene Wooten and husband, Thomas of Albord, TX; son, Rick Clark, Jr. and wife, Gina of Bridgeport, TX; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and stepfather, Harvey Merritt, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
