Ramona Yvonne Cheek, 84, was born in Boswell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Archie Selby and Willie Jo (Bonds) Selby. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Donald Cheek; sons, Ricky Don Cheek and Kevin Cheek; brothers, Joe Selby, Fred Selby, Charles Selby and Gary Selby.

Ramona grew up in Boswell, OK and was a graduate of Boswell High School. She married the love of her life, Donald Cheek, on November 24, 1954 in Bokchito, OK. They lived in Kress, Texas for many years and later moved to Bonham, Texas and then back to Boswell. Ramona loved tending to her vegetable garden and red bud trees. She was a great cook and kept a neat and clean home. She enjoyed traveling and vacations with her sister and was always well dressed. Most of all, Ramona loved being a mother and taking care of her children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ramona is survived by her son, Brandon Cheek of Pampa, TX; daughter, Gail Pennington of Boswell, OK; grandchildren, Brad West, Zachary West, Michael West, Kelsey Cheek, Kolby Cheek, Braiden Cheek, Haiden Cheek and Jaxson Cheek; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Margie Manar and brother-in-law, Floyd Manar of Unger, OK along with a host of friends, family and loved ones.
