Peggy Joe Harrison-Lawrence, 74, was born on October 14, 1948 in Birmingham, AL to Joseph and Jimmie (Starling) Lingo. She was preceded in death by both parents and a sister, Virginia Howard.

Peggy was a resident of McCurtain County for the last 52 years. She married David Lawrence on August 31, 2002. Peggy owned and operated a grocery store in Millerton as well as one in Valliant. She also owned a print shop in Valliant and designed and printed T-shirts, alongside her husband, David. Peggy was heavily involved in the community, including local churches and schools. She loved sewing, quilting and embroidering and made many of the T-Shirts for Valliant Schools. Peggy loved her family dearly and especially her grandchildren. She  will be missed by her community, friends and family.

Peggy is survived by her husband, David Lawrence of Millerton, OK; sons, Joey Harrison of Valliant, OK and Phillip Lawrence of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, Khristi Harrison-Shepherd and husband, John of Valliant, OK, Misty Mader and husband, Jeff of Shawnee, OK and Penny Drinnon and husband, Bob of Swink, OK; grandchildren, Heather Hall and husband, Brandon, Cole Mader, John Shepherd IV, Kelsey Mader, Elizabeth Lawrence, Dean Harrison, Joey Drinnon and Bobbi Drinnon; sister, Janice Hill and husband, Robert of Prescott, AR; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
