Patsy Joyce Tyree, 89, was born on August 4, 1933, in Burkburnett, Texas,  the daughter of Kenzy Savage and Esther (Dodson) Savage. She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, Phillip Tyree and Michael Tyree.

Patsy married her husband, David in 1953 in Isleta, Texas. She taught missionary schools in Costa Rica for over 8 years and loved serving the Lord. Patsy was a master jewelry maker and played the piano and organ at 1st Assembly of God in Hugo. She loved her church family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Patsy is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Theresa Root and husband Paul of Washington; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Bobby Wheeler of Albuquerque, NM along with a host of friends and family.
