Patricia Anne (Starnes) Wright, 72, was born on January 6, 1953, in Rotan, Texas, the daughter of Donald Ray "Blackie" Starnes and Minnie Marvene (Baird) Starnes. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brandon Scott Wright and brother, Jackie Ray Starnes.

Patty was born and raised and spent most of her adult life in Texas, attending high school in Monahans, later moving with her mother to Valliant, Oklahoma. She worked in accounting and bookkeeping throughout her life and enjoyed doing crafts in her spare time. Patty was a mama bear figure and mentor to countless young children and adults. She was a proud cancer survivor and also the primary caregiver for her mother in her later years. Patty truly wanted others to be happy and would help anyone she could. She was an active member and bookkeeper for the Valliant Church of God and loved going to church. Patty will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Patty is survived by her brother, Mike Starnes and wife, Martha of Howe, OK; Aunt Baby, Margie Tabor; nephew, Coleman Hunter Starnes; adopted daughter, Lela Chapman and husband, Kenneth; adopted grandchildren, Isabella Galeana, Alessia Galeana, J. P. Roberts, Sicilee Chapman, Bryden Chapman, Emaree Chapman; along with a host of other friends and loved ones.
