Pamela Joy Herring, known lovingly as "Pam," age 72, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, transitioned from this world to eternal life on June 24, 2026, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 8, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to Alford Eugene Aishman, Sr. and Billie Fern Gunstanson.

Pam was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered on her family. Much of her life was devoted to being a homemaker and caregiver, and she worked many jobs throughout the years to provide for her two sons. She later served as an apartment manager at The Aldridge in McAlester, Oklahoma.

She was a woman of strong faith who lived out her beliefs through kindness, generosity, and care for others. She shared her faith with all who knew her and especially invested in her grandchildren by teaching Sunday school lessons in the church and living out the values she passed on each day.

Pam had a warm personality and a quick sense of humor, often sharing funny sayings that brought joy and laughter to those around her. She always made it a point to call and sing "Happy Birthday" to her loved ones. She enjoyed gospel music, which filled her home with comfort and reflected the peace and joy she found in her faith. Much of her time was spent expressing love through small, meaningful acts for her family, especially by sewing quilts and blankets that became treasured keepsakes, as well as mending clothing for those she cared for. Her home was filled with knick-knacks and dolls collected over the years, each holding special meaning and reflecting the life and memories she cherished.

She is survived by her son, Billy Herring and his wife, Stacy Herring; step-children Marty Stine, Mark Stine, and Roy Greenwood; grandchildren Daniel Herring Jr., Ethan Vermillion, Lisa Rickner, Dallas Herring, and Nathan Herring; and great-grandchildren Serenity Herring, Jenson Herring, Henleigh Herring, Kolt Herring, Isabella Herring, Jordan Herring, Teagan Herring, Adley Rickner, Jase Vermillion, and Axel Vermillion; as well as numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alford Eugene Aishman, Sr. and Billie Fern Gunstanson; her son, Daniel Herring Sr.; her step-daughter Annette Sherrill; and her siblings Patsy Walters, Jeanie Williams, Sue Clark, and Buddy Aishman Jr.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the same location. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Billy Herring, Mark Stine, Roy Greenwood, Ethan Vermillion, Dallas Herring, Nathan Herring, and Jase Vermillion. Honorary pallbearers include Michael McMullen, Daniel Herring Jr., Ray Followwell, Justin Adrio, William Adrio, Marty Stine, and Bob Vernon.

Having poured out a life of faith, love, and devotion, Pam finished the race set before her and kept the faith. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, she now rests in the presence of the Lord, receiving the crown of righteousness promised to all who love and eagerly await His appearing. Her legacy of faith and the lives she touched will continue to be remembered with gratitude and love.
