Oleta Ann Dickson, 85 was born on November 6, 1938 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Rhodes and Maxine Edith (Nelson) Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Oleta was a lifelong resident of Hugo, Oklahoma and married her beloved husband Dalias on January 29, 1961, in Hugo, Oklahoma. She worked for many years for Paris Regional Hospital as a lab technician and retired from there after 42 years. Oleta loved her family and was so excited to welcome their son Kyle into the family when they adopted him in 1971.  She enjoyed large family gathering and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a member of The Church of Christ in Hugo and loved the Lord above all things. She spent time daily reading her Bible. Oleta will be missed by her family and all that had the pleasure of meeting her.

Oleta is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dalias Dickson of the home; son, Kyle Dickson and wife Sherry of Paris, Texas; grandchildren, Hunter Dickson, Mason Dickson, Brittany Raney, Jeffrey Money and McKenzie Beason; great grandchildren, Henry Raney, Emelia Raney, Royce Raney and Beau Beason; brother, J.N. Rhodes of Hugo, OK; sisters, Dorothy Cody of Jacksonville, FL, Martha Davis of Hugo, OK and Shirley Bryant of Hugo, OK along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a local foster child agency, adoption center or a cancer center in your area.
