Nelda Jean May, 73 was born on October 4, 1949, in Borger, Texas, the daughter of Chester May and Lena "Irene" (Ridge) May. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nelda lived most of her life in southeast Oklahoma. Her passion was the children's ministry and she served   with the Assemblies of God for 28 years in Oklahoma, Arizona and Texas along with other jobs. Nelda performed puppet shows for the kids and while in Arizona served the Native American children on the reservation. She loved to sing, play the piano and sew. Nelda loved her family but above all she loved the Lord. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nelda is survived by her brothers, Chester Eugene May of Paris, TX, and Carl Dean May and wife Cathy of Bear, Delaware; Aunt Leottie Ridge of Paris, TX along with a host of friends and loved ones.
