Nathaniel Wayne Smith, 24, was born on July 11, 1999 in Athens, Texas, the adopted son of Billy Smith and Faye (Medford) Smith. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother (mother) and his two aunts, Bonnie Droke and Judy Sneed.

Nathaniel was a lifelong resident of Fort Towson, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Fort Towson High School. He was also a member of the Fort Towson First Baptist Church. Nathaniel worked for Lift Community Action Agency in the weatherization and construction program. He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, playing video games and traveling. He loved working with wood and building things with his hands. Nathaniel loved to help people. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Nathaniel is survived by his father, Billy Smith; his birth mother, Misty Jackson; sons, Grayson Ray Smith and Lakota Smith; sisters, Samantha Jackson of Dallas, TX and Mikkenlen Grant of Maybank, TX; brother, Brian Jackson of Dallas, TX and grandmother, Judy Brummett of Denton, TX, along with a host of aunts, uncles, other family and frends.
