Mynda Sueann Dilbeck, 60, was born on April 18, 1965, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Frederick Dilbeck, Sr. and Cecilia (Tennis) Finch. She was preceded in death by her father and sisters, Donna Dilbeck, Rhonda Dilbeck and Jill Stacy.

Mynda was a graduate of Hugo High School in 1983 and attended college for two semesters at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, then transferring to Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas. She then moved to Durant, Oklahoma to be closer to home to continue her education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. In 1988, Mynda graduated Cum Laude, with a degree in English and Psychology, with post-graduate studies.

Following her graduation, Mynda worked at DHS, Gordon Cooper Technology Center, US Census Bureau and then the Shawnee Housing Authority until 2009. She realized the need for family services in the area and did all in her power to help those in need. During her tenure, she collaborated with community and volunteer activities, such as the Family Promise, the Coalition for the Advancement of Economic Self-Sufficiency, Eagle program at Gordon Cooper Technology, Education and Employment Ministry (TEEM), Advisory Board for OSU Extension Agency, Central Oklahoma Community Action Agency and served as President of the Diamond K Kiwanis.

Mynda moved to Greece in 2009, where she continued to pursue charitable activities and was awarded Dame of the Order of St Sebastian ad Dame of the Imperial Order of Saint Eugene of Trebizond, both ancient honors awarded for Christian charitable activities. She was an online member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Hugo, Oklahoma during the time she lived in Greece, and even had friends joining her for online praise. After returning to Hugo from Europe in 2024, she attended Victory Baptist Church in Hugo. Mynda enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it be camping, fishing, or just sitting at a lake, river or beach. She loved music, playing the clarinet for which she earned several music scholarships for college. Mynda also enjoyed traveling, writing travel articles, and being with her daughter and granddaughter. She was respected and loved and will be missed by friends and family.

Mynda is survived by her daughter, Alyxandra Bowden of Fleming, FL; granddaughter , Astrid Skye Bowden; mother, Cecilia Finch of Hugo, OK; brothers, Frederick Dilbeck and wife Amber of Broken Arrow, OK and Nathaniel Dilbeck of Reno, TX; nieces, Caitlin Lopez and husband Diego and Aubry Dilbeck; nephew Matthew Gonzales of Plano, TX; great nephew, Ezra Lopez and great nieces, Eliana Lopez and Lotus Dilbeck.
