Maudie Maxine Stuart, 86, was born on May 23, 1938, in Ringold, Oklahoma, the daughter of George Washington Bryant and Louanna (Deweis) Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Howard Stuart, Sr.; son, Robert Lee "Bob" Stuart; daughter, Judy Lynn Stuart; brothers, Lawrence Bryant, Ernest Bryant, Hershel Bryant, Lloyd "Pig" Bryant and Melvin "Cat" Bryant; sisters, Mamie Trammell and Lois McIntosh; and special companion, Jim Skaggs.

Maxine was a lifelong resident of Pickens, Oklahoma. She married William Howard Stuart on august 16, 1952 in DeQueen, Arkansas. Maxine was a true homemaker, excellent cook, gardener and seamstress. She loved going dancing and enjoyed fishing, squirrel hunting and taking care of the cattle. Maxine liked bossing her family and spending as much time with them as she could. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Maxine is survived by her son, William Howard "Joker" Stuart, Jr. and wife, Faith of Ringold, OK; daughter, Aline Joyce "Susie" Whitfield and husband, Robert of Golden, OK; bonus son, Floyd Sanford; fifteen grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
