Matthew Lee Goodwin, 32, was born on January 2, 1992, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, the son of Autrey Goodwin, Jr. and Carolyn (Janz) Royal. He was preceded in death by his father; grandfathers, Marvin Ebahotubbi and Larry Janz; uncle, George Goodwin and sister, Walonda Blakley.

Matt was a lifelong member of McCurtain County, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Idabel High School and Tahlequah Job Corps. He was raised from an early age by his second dad, Myron Royal. He loved fishing, enjoyed cooking and liked going to the casino. Matt liked to dress fresh and always kept his clothes and shoes matching. He loved his family, and his girls were able to make him smile and laugh, even when it was hard. Matt was always the one to joke around and make you laugh. He loved his momma more than anything and always tried to keep weekly contact with her even if it was just through Snapchat. Matt will be so missed by those who knew and loved him.

Matt is survived by his daughters, Jacey Nicole Ewing, Brooklynn Renae Lord and Mattisyn Lee Goodwin; mother, Carolyn Royal and husband, Myron of Idabel, OK; granddaughter, Victoria Jean Ewing; brothers, Maureece Royal  (Beju), TreVaughn Royal and Nate Blakley of Idabel, OK; sisters, Sylvia Goodwin (Corey) of Idabel, OK and Erica Langford of Rome, GA; nephews, Gerardo and Raymundo Goodwin; niece, Elizabeth Goodwin; grandmother, Lena Janz Ebahotubbi; cousins, Justin (Zak), Steven (Tana), Mellonie and Malik Foryan; Ashley and Angela Willeford; Amber Brown (Tanner)and Ruby Bagby (Tim); aunts, Corena Foryan; Kim Glass and Rachel Ebahotubbi (Donna) and uncle, Larry Ebahotubbi; mother of his children, Ashleigh Lord Goodwin; mother-in-law, Dolly Lord and sister-in-law, Lindsay Lord; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
