Marty Lois Henson, 56, was born on June 13, 1968, in DeQueen, Arkansas, the son of Benny Frank and Judy (Crow) Henson. He was preceded in death by his son, Christian Jeremiah Henson.

Marty was a lifelong member of Valliant, Oklahoma and a 1986 Valliant High School graduate. He joined the Air Force in 1988 and truly loved every aspect of it, honorably serving his country for ten years. Marty enjoyed reading, documentaries and learning the history of the presidents, as well as keeping up with current events. He was known for voicing his opinion and was a board member on several committees, working to improve things around the community. Marty worked as the store manager at the Dollar General for over three years in Valliant, training managers and employees not just as a leader, but also a friend. He liked crocheting and doing crafts in his spare time and getting to eat supper with Mom and Dad, especially enjoying catfish. Marty will truly be missed by those who knew him and loved him.

Marty is survived by his parents, Benny and Judy Henson of Valliant, OK, along with many other loved ones and friends.
