Martha Sue (Gibson) Woodruff, 88, went to her forever home on November 16, 2022, at her residence in Kemp, Oklahoma.

Martha was born on October 25, 1934 in Paris, Texas, the daughter of Wade Thomas Gibson and Laura Alice (Myers) Gibson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Woodruff; son, Virgul Woodruff; twin infant daughters, Linda and Brenda Woodruff; son-in- law, Randy Bishop; siblings, George, L.J., Bobbie, Patsy, and Francis; two grandsons, Jason Bishop and Cody Peebles and one great grandson, Trevor Pallen.

Martha married the love her life, Eddie Woodruff on September 8, 1949, and had lived in the Hugo Community in since 1978. Martha was a true homemaker; loving to take care of her family and home. She was also an excellent seamstress. She made many quilts and clothing for her loved ones. In her spare time, Martha enjoyed shopping, spending time with her loving family and her dog, Rusty. Martha will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Mary Peebles of Kemp, OK, Linda Pallen of Hugo, OK and Betty Bishop of Boyd, TX; sons, David Woodruff of Sawyer, OK, James Woodruff of Kemp, OK and William Woodruff of Rattan, OK; 13 grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; along with host of other friends, family and loved ones.
