Martha Ann (Taylor) Smith, 74, was born on October 14, 1950 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Buford Ray Taylor and Ruth Ann (Allen) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Allen Taylor, James Taylor, Gary Taylor, Darrell Taylor and Paul Taylor and sister, Helen Bolin.

Martha had lived in the Hugo community for most of her life and found joy in caring for others while working in home health as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed doing crafts and going rock hunting. Martha loved her dogs and the occasional trip to Grant. She was happiest when she was able to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Martha loved her family and spending time with them, and they will miss her dearly.

Martha is survived by her daughters, Debby Bailey and husband, Chad of Hugo, OK and Anita Morehead and husband, John of Powderly, TX; grandchildren, Jay Henderson, Matthew Gould, Ryan Gould, Jenna Gould, Hannah Morehead and Connor Morehead; great grandchildren, Trenton Henderson and Conner Henderson; brothers, David Taylor of Calera, OK and Don Taylor of Millerton, OK and sisters Janet Sheffield of Durant, OK, Pat Farris of Caddo, OK, Linda Burchfield of Sawyer, OK and Brenda Clinton of Hugo, OK.
