Marlin Franklin Cunningham, age 87, was born on December 4, 1935 in Rufe, OK to David and Gertie (Fennell) Cunningham. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elsie (Wright) Cunningham; sons, Gary (Bozo) Cunningham and infant son, Terry Cunningham; daughter, Rose Busby; sons-in-law, Bobby Long, Sr. and Sherrill Busby; brothers, Burl Cunningham, J.D. Cunningham and Francis Joe Cunningham; sisters, Lucille McKinley and Edna Heuszel; grandchildren, Travis Cunningham, Sherri Busby, as well as two infant grandsons, Gary Blake and Eric Lee Cunningham; and a very special friend, Beulah Luper.

Marlin was born and raised in Rufe, OK. He enjoyed getting out and picking up cans and loved the outdoors. Marlin worked as a sawmill operator and rancher. In his free time, he enjoyed sitting on the porch, dipping snuff and watching for cars to go by. His favorite times were get togethers with his family; his kids and grandkids were loved so much by him. Marlin loved his late wife's fried pies. He considered them a special treat for himself. Marlin will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Marlin is survived by his son, Jerry Cunningham of Rufe, OK; daughter, Gloria Long of Haworth, OK; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
