Marie Hatcher, 94, was born on October 14, 1928 in Valliant, OK, the daughter of Lon and Millie (Box) Tatum. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Lanyard M. Hatcher and a son, Kenneth Hatcher.

Marie "Redell" was born and raised in the Valliant community and lived most of her life there, excluding about 17 years, when she was living in California. She married her husband, Lanyard M. Hatcher on April 16, 1949 in DeQueen, AR. Marie enjoyed getting out and going places; especially going to church and church camp as a United Pentecostal church member. She loved working in her yard, building a fire and tending to her flowers and chickens. Marie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Marie is survived by her children, Bobby Hatcher of Valliant, Virginia Hayes of Valliant, Shirlee Addis of Edmond, Carol Duke of Waxahachie, TX, Dianna Collins of Valliant, Richard Hatcher of Valliant and Lana Stephens of Valliant; twenty grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.
