Lynda Raye (Lawhon) Gibson, 75, of Wright City, Oklahoma, went to her heavenly home on March 14, 2025, in Paris, Texas.

Lynda was born on January 13, 1950, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Ray Lawhon and Mae (Coleman) Lawhon. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Hodge Gibson.

Lynda was a lifelong resident of Wright City, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Wright City High school class of 1967. She worked for Weyerhaeuser in the forestry division for 20 plus years until retirement. She truly enjoyed her community and loved living in the town of Wright City.

Lynda was a loving mother and granny to her family; they were her greatest joy in life and her biggest blessing. Her passing has left a void in their lives, but her loving memory will live on in their hearts forever.

Lynda is survived by her son, Jason Lawless and wife, Priscilla of Paris, Texas; brother, Jim Lawhon of Broken Bow, OK; sister, Sue Barnett of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Wade Lawless and wife, Alisha, Emily Richbourg and husband, David, and Bree Sams and husband, Ben; seven great grandchildren; along with a host of other friends family and loved ones.
