Lorrie Jean Gross, 63, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Lorrie was born on January 5, 1963 to Florence Gilman-Gross and O.J. Gross, both of whom preceded her in death.

Lorrie spent part of her childhood in Red Oak, Texas, before her family moved to Millerton, Oklahoma, where she spent the remainder of her growing-up years. She dedicated much of her adult life to working in some variation of healthcare, caring for others until illness eventually made it difficult for her to continue.

Throughout her life, Lorrie found joy in many simple and beautiful things. She enjoyed photography, yard sales( or pilfering as she liked to call it.)

Lorrie's life was not always easy. She carried struggles that many people could never see and faced seasons of profound hardship. Her battle with her health, her mind, and her faith was often difficult. Yet even in those moments when she struggled to find God, we can choose to believe that He never stopped hearing her. Perhaps the grace she spent so much of her life searching for was there all along, waiting to welcome her home.

Lorrie was a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son, T.J. Terrill, and her daughter, Savannah Pace; her grandchildren, Jarren Terrill, Jordyn Terrill, Kylam Evans, and Sylas Pace; and Her sister, Vickie Slabaugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence Gilman-Gross and O.J. Gross, and her brother, Gary Gross.
