Lonnie Leo Hilburn, 69, was born on January 2, 1955, in Mena, Arkansas, the son of Loyd Ray Hilburn, Sr. and Bernice Maxine (Woods) Hilburn. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly Kay (Garner) Hilburn and brother, Loyd Ray Hilburn, Jr.

Lonnie was a resident of Messer, OK for 42 years and was a member of the Messer Fire Department. He graduated from Hugo High School and went on to work construction all over the country, retiring in 2018. Lonnie married the love of his life, Kay Garner, on April 4, 1975 in Paris, TX. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting, especially 'down below the house'. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family, his kids and grandkids were his world. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Lonnie is survived by his sons, Michael Hilburn and wife, Dot of Messer, OK and David Hilburn and wife, Maci of Messer, OK; grandchildren, Dawson Hilburn, Mason Hilburn, Brantley Hilburn, A.J. Hilburn and wife, Brittany and Trent Hilburn; great grandchildren, Trystan Hilburn and Taw Hilburn and sister, Tommie Brannan of Wright City, OK along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
