Lois Faye Ruffin, 79, was born on January 12, 1946, in Wright City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Floyd Dean and Stella Mae (Roberts) Hanley. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy James Ruffin; daughter, Alisha Ruffin; grandson, Joey Bostick; brother, Clarence Hanley and sisters, Jean Gordon and Margie Black.

Lois married Troy James Ruffin on January 25, 1969, in Paris, Texas and they made their home in Wright City, Oklahoma. She was a beautician and loved changing the color of her hair often. Lois was a gifted cook, enjoyed baking and making candy, especially during the holidays. She was also a talented seamstress, making and giving away many of her handmade quilts. Lois could often be found with a camera in her hand, taking pictures of everyone and had many photo albums. She was the person to call to be updated on family matters. Lois made certain to keep in touch with loved ones and friends often. Above all, she was a Godly woman, standing by her husband's side for 47 years in his ministry. Her role as a minister's wife was one she embraced with grace and selfless love, and she was willing to help anyone in need. Lois will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lois is survived by her son, Keith Engel of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Kimberly O'Shields of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, August Cantrell and husband, Kenneth Ricks, Jr. of Broken Bow, OK, Akasha Glover of Ada, OK and Matthew Hawkins of Tulsa, OK; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Pat Sanford of Wright City, OK and Doris Gist of Oklahoma City, OK along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
