Linda Carolyn (Spencer) Smith was born on August 21, 1946 in Bonham, Texas to Ard Spencer and Inez Malone.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Glen Smith; daughter, Teresa Lyn Smith; sisters, Sadie Nation, Bonnie Harmon and Lula Mae Young.

Linda was a lifelong resident of the Valliant community. She married the love of her life, Glen Smith on August 10, 1962 in Paris, TX. Linda worked as a nurse's aide and a homemaker. She loved the Lord and going to church was very important to her. Linda was a member of the Valliant Church of God and loved singing in the choir. She also enjoyed getting to go fishing and spend time with her family. Linda really enjoyed just being "Mama". Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her sons, Glen W. Smith and wife Vanessa of Valliant, OK; Paul Smith and wife Denise of Idabel, OK; Lane Smith and wife Sherri of Valliant, OK; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Spencer of DeQueen, AR; along with a host of other family friends and loved ones.
