Linda Nell Chambers was born on July 16, 1947, in Bogota, Texas the daughter of Leroy Hampton and Parilee (Mauldin) Bowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Terry Taylor and Jerry Taylor; great grandchild, Willow Turner and sisters, Marie Morrow and Crystal Atchley.

Linda grew up in Dallas, Texas and was a resident of Ada, Oklahoma for over twenty years, moving to Durant, Oklahoma five years ago. She was a St. Jude Prayer Team Member and worked as a dispatcher for Arrow Wreaker Service for many years. Linda enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She was a great cook and made the best sweet potatoes and pineapple upside down cake. Linda loved her family and would do anything for them. She loved giving to her kids and watching the Golden Girls. But more than all she loved the Lord. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her son, Billy Dewayne Taylor of Hugo, OK; daughter, Donna Kay Higgins and husband Walter of Messer, OK; sister, Diana Smith of Springfield, TN; grandchildren, Ashlee Richie, Brandi Childers, Stormie Childers, and Bryson Taylor; great grandchildren, MarShon Williams, River Turner, Finn Turner, Karim Vasquez, Aleea Gamboa and Serenity Marshall along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
