Lillian Ann (Pitts) Stroder, was born on December 16, 1930 in Boswell, OK, the daughter of B.E. Pitts Sr. and KatieLeam (Pennington) Pitts.  She passed away from this life on May 28, 2023 in Powderly, TX.  Lillian married John Ray Stroder in Boswell, OK on July 16, 1949. John and Lillian had lived in Powderly, TX for the last 33 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, B.E and KatieLeam Pitts; brother, B.E. Pitts, Jr; and sister, Wanda Lynn Moore.

Lillian enjoyed gardening, baking, playing the piano, reading, and she loved her pets. Her passion was the Church. She loved going to Church and her Sunday School class. Lillian was a lifelong teacher and was wonderful at her trade.  She was a very hard worker and very organized. Lillian was a strong leader and the matriarch of the family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lillian is survived her son, Allen Ray Stroder of Odessa, TX; daughter, Rachelyn Stroder Smith and husband Mark of Willis, TX; grandchildren, Marcus Smith, John Stroder, Dean Stroder, Dorian Stroder, and Katie Smith; ten great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
