Lesa Gale (Thomas) Dixon was born September 1, 1963, the daughter of Kelsey Thomas and Anna  (Franks) Brown.  Lesa grew up in the Valliant area and graduated from Valliant High School.  She has lived in the Valliant area all her life.  After graduation, Lesa explored different cities like Tulsa, Houston and Arlington. Lesa settled back down in Valliant and attended college at Eastern Oklahoma State College and received her degree to be a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her father, Kelsey Thomas; her maternal grandparents, Mack and Dorothy Franks; and two infant brothers.

Lesa had many passions. She enjoyed sewing and working with her flowers. She loved helping others, which she did in the medical field serving others for over 10 years. Lesa was known for making the best snacks around and loved hanging out with her lifelong friends, Debbie and Larisa.  Most of all, Lesa loved her family, especially her children and grandson, Matthew. She also enjoyed shopping with her mother. Lesa will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lesa is survived by her daughter, Gracie and fiancé, Bub Morris of Valliant, OK; son, Dempsey Dixon of Valliant, OK; mother, Anna (Franks) Brown of Valliant, OK; dad and step-mom, Jack and Marsha Brown of Valliant, OK; grandson, Matthew Morris; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
