Leo Covington, 75, was born on April 9, 1948, in  Hugo, Oklahoma, the son of Floyd Jackson Covington and Jewel (Dover) Covington. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Elvin Covington and Barney Covington and sister, Juanita Ables.

Leo grew up in Hugo and lived most of his life in the area. He enjoyed fishing at Hugo Lake, especially at the spillway. Leo loved country music and was very knowledgeable about it. He also loved to eat, especially strawberry ice cream. Leo was loved by all his family and was a great uncle. He always made sure everyone was taken care of.  Leo's  passing has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Leo is survived by his brothers, Charles Covington of Hugo, OK and Jerry Covington of Boswell, OK; sisters, Ruth Jones of Hugo, OK, Lucille Ables of Talihina, OK, Virgie Henderson of Oklahoma City, OK and Mary Eskridge of Edmond, OK, along with numerous  nieces, nephews, family and loved ones.
