Leanna Lea (Taylor) Parish, 39, gained her heavenly wings on April 12, 2025, passing on from this life at her home in Fort Towson, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family.

Leanna was born on October 29, 1985, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the daughter of Marshall Lee "Buzz" Taylor and Rosemary (Reeves) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy George Taylor; and father-in-law, Richmond Parish, Jr..

Leanna was a life long resident of Fort Towson, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Fort Towson High School, Class of 2004. After graduating, she began her career in the accounting department at the Choctaw Nation Casino and later worked at the Dollar General in Fort Towson.

Leanna was an avid lover of the outdoors. She enjoyed going fishing with her family and you could often find her outside enjoying the day, with her loving dog, Little Bit, sipping on her signature drink, Dr.Pepper. Leanna also had a deep love for the ocean, a place she visited multiple times with her friends and family.

To say that Leanna treated everyone like family would be an understatement. Her home and heart were open to all, and she built a community of friends who became an extended family, bonded by her unwavering support and affection.  She approached every challenge with courage and every person with an open heart.  Above all else, Leanna was a devoted mother, sister and friend to many and always put the needs of others, especially her children, above her own. Her legacy is one of love and kindness, a testament to the way she lived her life and the countless lives she touched.

Her passing has left a void in the lives of her family and friends, but, they will always remember her famous words "Just keep swimming" with a smile,  reminding them that her loving memory and courage will live on forever in their hearts.

Leanna is survived by her loving family; children, Mya Parish, Mason Parish and Joesie Parish; sisters, Lori Taylor and husband, Jeff Keith and Shellia Ann Price and husband, Rodney; brother, Shannon Taylor; the father of her children, Michael Parish; aunt, Joy Trapp; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, friends and loved ones.
